When each one wins
Choose Quizlet if you mostly memorize vocabulary-style facts, or want ready-made sets other students already made.
Choose Notion if you want one workspace for everything (class notes, projects, life) and are happy to add practice some other way.
Choose RecallHaven if your courses are math-heavy and you want each note to come with practice, and the app to tell you when to review it.
What's different about RecallHaven
- Quizzes belong to notes. Open a note, create a quiz from it (or from a text selection), and split it into sections by concept.
- Self-grading done properly. For open questions you write a reference answer (Markdown and LaTeX supported) and compare your attempt with it.
- Scheduling you can choose. FSRS or SM-2. When you finish a section it's scheduled, and it shows up in Today, the review queue and the calendar.
- Free plan limits, stated plainly: text quizzes, up to 12 questions per quiz, no image uploads, no AI generation or grading. Premium ($4.5/mo or $45/yr) adds images in notes and quizzes and up to 28 questions per quiz. Premium+ ($13/mo) adds AI quiz generation and AI-graded open questions.
What RecallHaven doesn't do (yet)
- No native mobile app.
- No shared public library of decks like Quizlet's.
- Not a general-purpose workspace like Notion.
